The decorations in the hotel were simply lovely, very charming and homely. It made me feel like I was staying in a cozy English cottage, perfect for senior folk like myself. the general areas were well-kept and easy to navigate, making it a comfortable and welcoming environment for older guests.

Would appreciate more assistance for the elderly; perhaps more help from the children working there.

The garden had lots of outstanding meals for breakfast. The room was perfect and lovely with a beautiful view as expected.

Everything was very good, great location not far from the pub and restaurant, the beautiful North York Moors and the train station, VERY ATTENTIVE staff. We had a wonderful breakfast, really enjoyed the meal with yoghurt and toast.

We were in Y room. Staff were amazing, very friendly, couldn't do more for you. Check in is at the pub area downstairs and they helped us get taxi info and for another guest there for the same wedding. Breakfast was good but we paid extra for that. No sound from other rooms, big win. Location good, street parking outside was busy but we managed to get a spot and it's all free I think. It's a lovely village in North Yorkshire so what do you expect. Decor is nice too. Mini fridge, coffee making facilities all good! ! Co Op over the road if you needed supplies but they serve food at a good price downstairs too. the relaxing entertainment in the garden area provided a cozy atmosphere for family bonding, complemented by nearby landmarks like the Moors National Park Centre, the Seated Man, Inspired by. gallery, and RAF Danby Beacon, enriching our experience in the serene surroundings of Castleton.

I loved sleeping 1 night in this hotel. The pub downstairs had awesome live music and a chill vibe. the staff were super friendly and helped us find the best spots to party in the village. the room was clean and comfy, perfect for sleeping off our epic nights out.

Wish there was a cooler hangout spot for young people besides the pub. More fun activities would've made the stay even more wicked.
